Had weird useless buttons sewn on the sides of them, but I think they will work well for long days in the water. I just cut the buttons off.
It is hard finding items that fit my pit bull type dogs well - if they fit the chest they are usually way too long. These shirts are very stretchy, but don't get stretched out like t-shirt type items. Lightweight and will be good for summer. I'm very happy I took a chance on these!
We now live in a beach town. So my girl needed a sunshirt. I think she needs a second one after today. Her first day at the beach was a success!
The Tuga snorkel top allowed me to spend all day in the sun and water while vacationing in the Caribbean. No need for sun block, the Tuga top does it all. The top fit well and is extremely comfortable. The top is extremely well made from high quality materials. Dealing with both the website and with actual live humans at Tuga was a pleasure. I also have Tuga’s snorkel tights/sun and rash guard which mates with the top via four buttons - these keep the top from riding up while swimming. Zero sun burn - rash protection - what more could you ask for?

Quality and design look good, but inches too small in the entire body, to the point where I didn't try ordering the next size up, which is the largest size offered.

The snorkel hoodie fit really well. Very flattering! The UV protection worked beautifully. No sunscreen needed. I was very impressed with how quickly it dried and was comfortable on the hike back to our car, too. I would buy this product again though may not need to as the durability with washing is also exceptional. Love this product!!

OUR STORY
IT STARTED WITH OUR KIDS
In 2001, we wanted a better way to protect our 4 fair-skinned kids from harmful UV rays. Sun protection beach clothing was basically non-existent in the U.S. Back then, we were buying swimwear from Australia, but our kids didn't like wearing it because it was uncomfortable and not fashionable.
Then a light bulb went off! Tuga (pronounced "too-ga") was born. We decided that starting our own line of sun protection swimsuits that our kids would want to wear would be ideal. We're still family owned and operated with no investors telling us how to run our business. We love to design colorful, fashionable, and super comfy beachwear for everyone in the family.
We'd like to think that we're doing a small part in educating about smart sun protection habits. More people are diagnosed with skin cancer each year in the U.S. than all other cancers combined. On average, a person’s risk for melanoma doubles if they have had more than five sunburns. And at least one in five Americans will develop skin cancer by the age of 70.
